Thursday 11th February
This morning we went up to Sterling to the Organic Market Café where I had been so often last time I was here. The coffee was still as good and the food delicious. We persuaded Bev to come with us, and had a lovely lunch together.

On the way home we called in at the monastery to see the beautiful marble stations of the cross, and the gardens were looking beautiful, as usual. Such a special place of peace and tranquillity.
In the evening we went back to the beach, just as we did on my first night ever in Adelaide, and had fish and chips as the sun went down.
So sad to say goodbye to Adelaide, it is a lovely city and I have had so much fun there!
Friday 12th February
Off to Sydney today. Bev came in to say goodbye and Bill and Pauline dropped me at the airport. On the plane I sat next to the most fidgety individual I have ever met so was pleased to land and make my way into town. I am staying at the YHA for the weekend so met Charles in the CBD and we went to a Malaysian restaurant he has been wanting to try for ages. I must say the food was excellent!
Because it is Chinese New Year there are a lot of very ambitious lanterns around,
representing the animals of the Chinese years. As we were leaving we came across the Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull, as he visited Chinatown.
