The sandstorm persists so the temperatures are low for Dubai and the visibility is very poor. Today we went to a Lebanese restaurant and tasted some of the local delicacies. Very good and very different!!Apparently only 17% of the population of Dubai are Emerati, 50% come from the Indian subcontinent and the Philippines; most of the latter working here as maids or nannies. I was totally amazed in the supermarket, not only at the quality of the food on display but also by the fact that absolutely everything appears to be available. Even in France I have never seen such abundance!
