Good Friday seems to be the big holiday here, unlike France, and everything is closed. Yesterday I spent most of the day at the pool as it was so warm and sunny -32 degrees- and I swam a mile! (it's so much less boring in a long pool.) Today it was grey and very windy so decided against driving to the Barossa valley and thought I would go for a walk on the beach later. However my lovely neighbour came round  so we stayed here and had afternoon tea. So typically Australian , friendly and kind, she brought me a box of Easter chocolates because I was so far from home! I finished reading The Expats by Chris Pavone, a brilliant read , difficult to put down.
